PROCESS FLOW

STEP 1

Give us a call to discuss what material you have available and agree on terms.

STEP 2

Send a representative 50kg sample to Modern Mining for evaluation.

STEP 3

Our team inputs your relevant data into our system.

STEP 4

We’ll analyse your sample at no charge to you, a $1200 value.

STEP 5

We will present a full analysis of the material and expected metals recovery.

STEP 6

We will let you know what we can pay, based on the results of the lab analysis.

STEP 7

You will arrange shipping of agreed materials to our facility in North Carolina and provide us with a manifest.

STEP 8

When we receive the shipment, we’ll send an Acknowledgement Receipt with corresponding lot number upon arrival. Our 30-day clock to issue payment starts at this date.

STEP 9

We will verify that the material(s) received are as expected, free from hazardous items.

STEP 10

We will separate the waste materials from the shipment and record the weight lost.

STEP 11

We will report the lab analysis to you within 14 days.

STEP 12

Within 30 days we will generate a detailed settlement and issue payment to you.

STEP 13

Long term agreements can then be negotiated to simplify the process even further.

HOW WE DIFFER

Modern Mining uses proprietary processes and specialized machinery engineered to efficiently pulverise, separate, refine and capture dust and fumes.
Our extraction process is eco-friendly, only emitting water and water vapor, with no carbon emissions, no harmful effluent, and no landfill. All metals recovered are produced in a responsible manner with no damage to the planet
e-Waste Concentrate

Total Destruction

Modern Mining’s equipment pulverises E‑waste into a fine material ready for concentration and refining.  Complete destruction of the raw e‑waste ensures any remaining data is completely destroyed.

On-site destruction

Larger E‑waste suppliers with sufficient raw material are provided with free shredders or crushers on site, so that they can oversee the complete destruction of sensitive electronics and data.

Quantities that suit you

Most processors have minimum shipments of 20 tons or full containers. Modern Mining will accept shipments of 250lbs or more.

COLLECTION TIPS

  • Clearly label all containers for shipping, Modern Mining will provide address details.
  • Keep types of material homogenous, do not include original housings, glass, liquids, batteries, powerpacks and transformers.
  • If you have sufficient volume, please palletize and shrink wrap your containers.

Labeling procedures

  • Shipping label details will be provided by Modern Mining customer service.
  • Labels must comply with the contents of the container.
  • All shipments require a Modern Mining issued purchase order number to be included on the label.

Shipping Procedures

  • Modern Mining’s customer service team will assist you with your shipping, order details, required documentation etc.
  • Customers coordinate pick up with the shipper.
  • Live tracking of shipments is available.

Fast turn around

  • Modern Mining’s receiving process enables prompt and accurate settlement once the materials are received at our plant in Raleigh.
  • Suppliers have the option of payment via check, wire or credit.
